Nigerian music superstar Davido has spoken out following the recent spate of violent incidents in Kebbi and Kwara States, calling for urgent action and national unity.
The singer reacted after 25 secondary schoolgirls were abducted in Kebbi State on Monday, November 17, 2025, and a deadly attack on a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) branch in Kwara State claimed three lives and left several others, including the pastor, missing.
In a statement posted on X on Wednesday evening, Davido expressed deep concern over the escalating violence. He said, “No family deserves this pain,” highlighting the human cost of these attacks.
The award-winning musician emphasized the need for collective responsibility, urging Nigerians to unite for a safer future. “As a nation, we must ensure every child grows up in safety and hope,” he said.
Davido also appealed to the public to support rescue efforts. “Everything must be done to bring the girls home safely. Anyone with credible information should come forward safely and responsibly,” he added.
He concluded with a prayer for the victims and their families, urging an end to the cycle of violence. “May God comfort the grieving families in Kwara, bring peace to our nation, and put every sponsor of violence and disorder to shame.”
