Afrobeats superstar David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, celebrated his 33rd birthday with an intimate gathering in Atlanta, United States, surrounded by family, close friends, and key members of his 30BG crew.
The private event brought together prominent figures from his inner circle, including billionaire father Adedeji Adeleke, Osun Governor Ademola Adeleke, sister Sharon Adeleke, cousins Nike and Folashade Adeleke, wife Chioma Rowland Adeleke, manager Asa, and longtime collaborator DJ ECool.
The celebration preceded a sold-out concert at the 21,000-seat State Farm Arena as part of Davido’s ongoing 5ive Alive Tour, featuring music, laughter, and heartfelt toasts captured in videos circulating online.
Reflecting on his career, Davido highlighted his journey from teenage artist to global icon. “I dropped my first song when I was 17, and now I’m 33. This year is one of my best years ever; I got married to the most beautiful woman and we had our babies,” he shared.
Much of his joy, he noted, stems from his recent marriage to Chioma and the arrival of their twins, marking a milestone in both his personal and professional life.
Davido also excited fans by announcing progress on his sixth studio album, just seven months after releasing his fifth project, 5ive, in April.
The birthday celebration underscores Davido’s continued rise in the Afrobeats scene while balancing family life and international acclaim.
