Afrobeats superstar Davido has announced plans to host his first-ever music festival, titled Davido & Friends, in the United Kingdom.
The event is scheduled to take place on August 14, 2026, at the Crystal Palace Bowl, as part of the venue’s “Palace Bowl Presents” summer series.
Davido made the announcement via Instagram on Monday, expressing excitement about the new venture and inviting fans to what he described as a landmark event.
The singer is set to headline the festival and will also curate the lineup, which is expected to feature a range of artists, although the full list of performers has yet to be disclosed.
Organisers say the broader festival series will run from July 31 to August 16, 2026, promising attendees a lively mix of music, food, fashion, and community-driven experiences.
The announcement comes on the heels of Davido’s recent 5IVE Tour, which saw him perform across several cities in Nigeria and internationally. The tour supported his fifth studio album, 5IVE, and included stops in Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos, among others.
With this latest move, Davido continues to expand his global footprint, bringing Afrobeats to new audiences while creating platforms that showcase diverse musical talent.
