The Premier League champions struggled in a first half dominated by Palace, who wasted several chances but led through Ismaila Sarr’s opener.
Liverpool substitute Federico Chiesa equalised after the break, but Palace struck late as Eddie Nketiah smashed in a 98th-minute winner, extending the hosts’ unbeaten start to the campaign.
