Crown FC head coach, Ayodeji Ayeni, has reaffirmed his team’s ambition to secure promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) in the new season.
The Ajilete Warriors reached the 2024/25 NNL play-offs but finished bottom of their group. Ayeni believes last season’s experience has laid the foundation for greater success this term.
“Last year showed what we are capable of; this year, we want to go one better and secure the promotion ticket our fans have long desired,” Ayeni told OyoSportsNews.
Crown FC will compete in a tough group featuring Abia Comets, Beyond Limit FA, Edel FC, E-World United, Inter Lagos FC, Godswill Akpabio United, Smart FC, and relegated NPFL clubs Sunshine Stars and Heartland FC.
The 2025/26 NNL season is set to kick off on Saturday, November 8.
