A Lagos State Special Offences Court has granted controversial relationship coach and social media personality Blessing CEO bail in the ongoing ₦69.15 million property fraud case filed against her by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The ruling, delivered on Thursday by Justice Rahman Oshodi, came about six weeks after the defendant was remanded at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre.
As part of the bail conditions, the court admitted Blessing CEO to ₦20 million bail with two sureties in the same amount. Each surety is required to provide proof of deposits covering the past three years valued at ₦20 million.
The court also directed the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS) to enforce travel restrictions against the defendant pending the conclusion of the trial.
According to the EFCC, Blessing CEO was arraigned on June 9, 2026, over allegations that she fraudulently obtained ₦69,150,000 from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited under the pretext of securing a lease for a property in the Lekki area of Lagos in March 2025.
The anti-graft agency charged her with two counts bordering on obtaining money by false pretences and stealing.
Blessing CEO pleaded not guilty to the charges when they were read in court.
Following Thursday’s proceedings, Justice Oshodi adjourned the matter until October 12, 2026, for the continuation of trial.
The case remains before the court, and the allegations against Blessing CEO have not been proven. She is presumed innocent unless and until the court rules otherwise.
