Nigerian comedian Emmanuel Chukwuemeka Ejekwu, popularly known as Sabinus, has opened up about a painful past relationship, drawing parallels with TikTok star Peller’s recent breakup.
Speaking during a livestream with content creator Sandra Benede, Sabinus described love as “cruel,” sharing how his generosity in a previous relationship ended in heartbreak. The comedian recalled gifting a Range Rover to a former lover, only for her to leave him shortly after, a decision he said he regretted.
“Jarvis has finished Peller. I have been in Peller’s situation before. Love is cruel. I once gifted a girl a Range Rover because of love. She later left me. I regretted it. So nobody should blame Peller,” Sabinus said, offering understanding to the embattled social media personality.
The comedian also reflected on his own personal life, confirming in a December 2025 TikTok livestream that his marriage to Ciana Chapman, the mother of his child, had ended. The couple married privately in 2023, but their union lasted just over a year.
