Veteran Nigerian actress has voiced frustration over the spread of false information and malicious claims about her on online platforms.
In a post on Instagram, Chukwurah criticized certain content providers and their sources for engaging in witch-hunting, blackmail, and deliberate lies, suggesting that envy or resentment may fuel such actions.
“I never cease to wonder how it became acceptable in Nigeria for online media to misinform, witch hunt, blackmail, broadcast outright lies, and wish evil on others. Is it because some of these news content providers and their sources are miserable and cannot bear to see others happy and successful? SMH,” she wrote.
The actress, however, reaffirmed her faith in God, citing scriptures including Isaiah 54:15-17, Genesis 12:3, Numbers 23:23, and Numbers 24:9, emphasizing that divine blessing cannot be undone by human malice.
“No man can curse who GOD has blessed,” she declared, expressing confidence in divine protection and blessings despite online negativity.
Chukwurah’s post underscores the challenges celebrities face with misinformation on social media while highlighting her unwavering belief in faith and resilience as the foundation of her success.
