As Nigerians celebrate Christmas, President Bola Tinubu has called for unity, tolerance, and vigilance, stressing the importance of religious freedom and safety nationwide.
In his 2025 Christmas message, the President described the season as a time to reflect on compassion, hope, and goodwill, urging citizens to strengthen bonds of harmony across communities. He extended warm greetings to Christians in Nigeria and around the world, praying for peace and stability.
“May the love of Christ and his message of peace, hope, and goodwill guide us all this season,” Tinubu said, emphasizing that fostering peaceful coexistence remains a central focus of his administration.
He acknowledged the role of Christians in promoting social welfare, noting their contributions to caring for the vulnerable and upholding moral and ethical values in society.
