Chelsea Football Club have announced the addition of two promising youngsters, Riley Ebho and Jashayde Greenwood, to their Under-18 academy side.
The west London club confirmed on their website on Monday that both players have signed scholarship contracts and will link up with Hassan Sulaiman’s squad, which has enjoyed a strong start to the new Under-18 Premier League season.
Ebho, a 16-year-old right-back, joins from West Ham United, where he stood out for the Under-18s despite still being a schoolboy last season.
Greenwood, a centre-forward from Wolverhampton Wanderers, has already featured for Chelsea’s youth side, scoring once in seven appearances. He has also represented England at various youth levels.
Both signings underline Chelsea’s continued investment in developing elite homegrown talent for the future.
