Chelsea have sealed an agreement to bring Emanuel Emegha to Stamford Bridge from Strasbourg in 2026.
The deal highlights the player-sharing model under BlueCo, the consortium of Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly, which owns both clubs.
Emegha, 22, enjoyed an impressive campaign last season, scoring 14 goals and providing three assists in 27 Ligue 1 appearances.
The Dutch forward began his career at Jong Sparta, before stints at Sparta Rotterdam, Antwerp, and Sturm Graz, eventually joining Strasbourg in 2023.
The move mirrors BlueCo’s earlier capture of Brighton midfielder Julio Enciso, who signed a four-year deal this summer. Enciso will spend the season at Strasbourg before making a future switch to Chelsea.
