Media personality and former Big Brother Naija housemate, CeeC, has shared new insights into her life after the reality show, describing her transition into fame as both unexpected and transformative.
Speaking on the Echo Room podcast, CeeC revealed that her original plan after leaving the BBNaija house was to return to her law career. “I just wanted to experience the show and learn from it. I was prepared to go back to practicing law,” she said.
However, the sudden spotlight pushed her in a different direction. She explained that adjusting to celebrity life felt overwhelming at first, but having a strong support system made the shift easier.
“When we came out, it was like, ‘Okay… what next?’ Suddenly, I was meeting people I used to watch on TV. Everything felt new, and I’m grateful I had the right people guiding me.”
CeeC also spoke about the ongoing challenge of being identified solely as a BBNaija star. While she believes the label may follow her for a long time, she does not see it as a disadvantage. “I don’t know if there will ever be a time when I’ll be viewed as more than a BBNaija star. But it’s not a bad thing, the platform opened many doors for us,” she noted.
Despite the pressures of public perception, CeeC said she remains focused on building her brand and exploring new opportunities beyond the show.
