American rapper Cardi B has announced that she is expecting a child with her boyfriend, NFL player Stefon Diggs, even as her divorce proceedings with estranged husband Offset play out in court.
The Grammy-winning artist shared the news during a Wednesday interview with broadcast journalist Gayle King.
“I’m having a baby with my boyfriend, Stefon Diggs. I’m excited,” Cardi B said, beaming as she revealed her pregnancy.
When asked how she felt about the new chapter, she added, “I feel safe, feeling confident. It makes you feel like you can take over the world.”
The revelation comes at a turbulent time for the Bronx-born rapper, who filed for divorce from Offset in August 2024, citing “irreconcilable differences.”
The case has since taken several turns. In February 2025, Offset requested joint custody of their three children and asked that Cardi B’s home serve as their primary residence. By May, the Migos rapper had also sought spousal support as part of the settlement.
While her personal life remains under legal scrutiny, Cardi B’s pregnancy announcement is already sparking widespread attention from fans and the entertainment industry alike.
