The English Football League (EFL) has officially released the dates for this season’s Carabao Cup quarter-final fixtures, with some blockbuster encounters set to light up December.
The round will kick off on Tuesday, December 16, when Chelsea make the trip to face Cardiff City in what promises to be an intense opening tie.
Action continues the following day, Wednesday, December 17, as Manchester City host Brentford at the Etihad Stadium. Kick-off for the match is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. (UK time).
Later that same evening, Newcastle United will welcome Fulham to St James’ Park, with the game set to begin at 8:15 p.m. (UK time).
The final quarter-final showdown will take place on Tuesday, December 23, when Arsenal face Crystal Palace at the Emirates Stadium in North London.
Newcastle United are the defending champions, having lifted the Carabao Cup in the previous campaign.
