The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has begun the countdown to the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with just 100 days left until kickoff.
Morocco will host the biennial showpiece for the first time in 37 years, having last staged it in 1988.
The tournament, billed as a grand celebration of African football, will run from December 21, 2025, to January 16, 2026, featuring 24 nations battling for continental glory.
Matches will be spread across nine stadiums in six host cities — Rabat, Casablanca, Fès, Tangier, Marrakech, and Agadir.
CAF noted that Morocco 2025 will not only unite fans from across Africa but also showcase the continent’s footballing talent to the world.
