Two dates on Burna Boy’s ‘No Sign of Weakness’ U.S. tour have been abruptly cancelled, including the show scheduled for Thursday, November 28, 2025, at The Armory in Minneapolis.
The update appeared on Ticketmaster on Thursday, confirming that both the Minneapolis performance and another concert slated for December 1, 2025, in Chicago had been pulled.
Although organisers did not provide an official explanation, the cancellations come amid widespread speculation about low ticket sales. Several fans had earlier raised concerns online about slow sales for the tour’s U.S. dates.
The development follows heightened criticism of Burna Boy after a viral incident in Colorado where he walked offstage upon spotting a couple asleep during his performance. The clip sparked intense debate, which escalated further when the singer responded during an Instagram Live session, saying he preferred “supporters who buy his tickets and not fans.”
It later emerged that the woman seen sleeping in the video had recently suffered a personal loss, adding a sensitive dimension to the controversy.
Burna Boy acknowledged the cancellations on Friday morning, sharing a direct link from the ticketing platform on his Instagram Story showing that both shows had been officially cancelled.
