Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy has reached another milestone on the global stage, becoming the first African artist to generate more than $1 million from a single concert in the Oceania region.
The achievement came during the Sydney stop of his No Sign Of Weakness tour, held at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia on October 18, 2025.
According to global concert tracking platform Touring Data, the performance generated $1.117 million in revenue, setting a new record for an African performer in the region.
Record-Breaking Tour in Oceania
Touring Data also reported that the No Sign Of Weakness tour achieved another milestone by becoming the highest-grossing tour by an African artist in Oceania’s history.
The Australian leg of the tour recorded $3.1 million in total revenue, with 31,000 tickets sold across four shows.
Detailed figures show that 30,946 tickets were sold for the four concerts, with an average ticket price of $100.94. Each show generated an average revenue of $772,791, highlighting the strong demand for the Afrobeats star in the region.
Global Reach of the Tour
The No Sign Of Weakness tour spanned 20 shows across three continents — North America, Europe, and Oceania — further cementing Burna Boy’s status as one of Africa’s most successful international music exports.
With the Sydney performance surpassing the $1 million mark, Burna Boy has now become the first African artist in history to gross over $1 million from a single concert in three different continents.
The achievement adds to the growing list of global records set by the Nigerian superstar as Afrobeats continues to expand its influence on the world stage.
