
Bulgarian side Botev Plovdiv have announced the signing of Nigerian winger Samuel Kalu on a free transfer.
The 28-year-old penned a long-term contract with the Yellow and Blacks after leaving English Championship side Watford following the expiration of his deal.
Kalu spent last season on loan at Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland, where he scored three goals in 21 league appearances.
The former GBS Academy talent has previously featured for AS Trencin (Slovakia), KAA Gent (Belgium), and Girondins Bordeaux (France).
On the international stage, Kalu has netted two goals in 16 appearances for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
