Veteran Nollywood actress Bukky Wright has cautioned fans and the general public against falling victim to fraudulent social media accounts created in her name.
In a post shared on her official Instagram page on Thursday evening, the UK-based actress disowned a fake job advertisement circulating online, describing it as a scam.
Wright clarified that she has no connection to the viral post offering supposed employment opportunities in the United Kingdom.
“Please be cautious of fake accounts pretending to be me. I never requested money, personal information, or private chats on any other account. This is my main page,” she wrote.
She further warned that scammers are using her identity to lure unsuspecting people into fraudulent schemes, adding that she would never solicit funds or initiate private conversations off her verified platform.
“A post was made on my account offering a job vacancy in the UK, and we realized it was fraudulent. Please disregard it. Your safety and trust mean so much to me,” she added.
The actress urged her followers to report suspicious pages and rely only on verified social media handles for authentic information.
