Barau FC technical adviser, Ladan Bosso, has attributed his team’s 2-0 defeat to Plateau United to a lapse in concentration during the second half of the match played on Sunday at the New Jos Stadium.
The Maliya Boys put up a strong first-half performance but were undone after the break, as Victor Temitope and Amietimi Tarabina found the net for the Peace Boys to seal the victory.
“We planned on getting the maximum points in the game. The first half was excellent, but in the second half, we lost concentration,” Bosso said while reflecting on the match.
The experienced tactician added that the technical crew has already pinpointed the team’s mistakes and will work on improving ahead of their next fixture.
“We have identified the areas where we got it wrong and will work on them. We are a highly motivated team and confident of making up for the defeat elsewhere,” he assured.
Barau FC currently sit bottom of the league table with five points, as they continue their search for consistency in the ongoing campaign.
