Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has publicly denied allegations of harassment, emotional abuse, and cyberstalking leveled against him by a woman identified as Jane Doe.
The accuser, through her legal representatives, Bristol & Mortglass CS, reportedly submitted a petition to the Nigeria Police Force, alleging that the artist subjected her to persistent harassment, bullying, and invasion of privacy. She also accused him of sharing private videos without her consent.
In a statement shared via his Instagram Story, Blaqbonez described the accusations as false and malicious, stating that he is fully cooperating with authorities to ensure the facts are properly established.
“I am cooperating fully with the authorities to see that truth is established,” the rapper wrote.
Blaqbonez, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, acknowledged that he once had a romantic relationship with the woman but said it ended “amicably and respectfully.”
He alleged that the resurfacing of the issue was part of a larger attempt by his professional rivals to tarnish his reputation.
“At the heart of these stories lies a personal relationship from my past, one that ended respectfully without conflict,” he explained. “That private chapter now becomes entangled with professional rivalries in the music industry.”
The Nigeria Police Force has not yet released an official statement on the petition as investigations continue.
