Nollywood actress and filmmaker Bimbo Ademoye has revealed plans to sponsor an in-vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedure for an individual, honouring a personal commitment she made before releasing her 2025 film, Broken Hallelujah.
The actress shared the announcement in a video posted online, where she explained that she had made a vow to God ahead of the film’s release. According to Ademoye, she promised to make a meaningful difference in someone’s life if the project achieved significant audience reach.
Broken Hallelujah has since surpassed 11 million views on YouTube. Ademoye also pointed to the strong performance of another film she released in December 2025, Where Love Lives, describing its reception as further confirmation that her prayers had been answered.
Reflecting on the promise, she said the goal was never tied to a single project but to the overall impact of her work. She added that feedback from viewers and personal messages she received after the films’ release reinforced her decision to move forward with the pledge.
Ademoye noted that while she is committed to funding the IVF procedure, she intends to keep details about the beneficiary private for now. She stressed that the focus is on changing one life rather than public recognition.
The announcement has since drawn attention online, adding to ongoing conversations around her work, philanthropy, and recent successes in the digital film space.
