Nigerian actress and reality TV star Beverly Osu has stated that her hard work in the entertainment industry should have made her a billionaire by now.
In a candid interview on Ghacha’s Chough Podcast, Osu said her extensive portfolio across multiple facets of the entertainment world is substantial enough to earn her billionaire recognition in Nigeria and across Africa.
“I have worked so hard, my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire not just in Nigeria but in Africa,” she said.
The actress, known for her roles as a luxury model, video vixen, reality TV star, and now actor, lamented that despite her achievements, she has often been underpaid.
“I am a very humble person but I know that my portfolio is enough to make me a billionaire. So, I am fighting for better wages. I have tried different facets of the entertainment industry. From being a luxury model to video vixen to reality TV star and now actor. I have paid my dues,” she added.
Osu’s comments highlight ongoing concerns about fair compensation in Nigeria’s entertainment industry, particularly for multi-talented performers who contribute across several sectors.
