Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has predicted that manager Ruben Amorim will soon be sacked by the club.
Speaking on his Fozcast Podcast, the 42-year-old said Amorim may only have “a couple of months left” at Old Trafford and could be dismissed after another poor run of results.
“I think he has got a couple months left, probably. He will go through a bad little run of two or three or four games in a row where he loses, and eventually they will go, ‘Right, we’ve had enough now, it’s obviously not working.’ I just watched them, and I don’t really see any kind of cohesion,” Foster said.
Foster suggested Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner as the ideal replacement, noting that the Austrian manager has only nine months left on his contract.
Amorim has overseen 48 games for United so far, winning 19 and losing 20, with the Red Devils currently sitting 11th in the Premier League table despite a recent win over Chelsea.
