Former Big Brother Naija housemate Bella Okagbue has shared a moving tribute following the heartbreaking loss of her sister Oge Okagbue’s triplets, Zion, Zoe, and Ziva, who passed away at six months of pregnancy.
Taking to Instagram, Bella expressed deep sorrow while celebrating the brief yet meaningful presence the babies had in their lives.
“You were here for such a brief moment, but the love you brought into our lives will last forever. Your strength and spirit shone brightly, and I’m grateful for every precious second we shared,” she wrote.
The reality TV star also praised her sister’s courage in enduring such an immense loss, adding:
“To my sister @oge_okagbue, your strength during this tough time is nothing short of inspiring. I love you more than words can say. Rest peacefully, little ones.”
Oge, who also shared her story publicly, revealed that she lost the triplets four months ago after going into early labour. She described the pain of watching her dreams and plans for her children fade in an instant.
“Four months ago, I lost my triplet pregnancy at six months. Three little blessings I carried with so much love and hope. The day I went into early labour, my world felt like it stopped. The dreams, the names, the plans, everything suddenly disappeared,” she wrote.
Despite her grief, Oge expressed faith in divine purpose and encouraged others going through similar pain to embrace healing at their own pace.
“Though I may never understand why, I’m learning to trust that God’s plan, even when it hurts, still carries purpose. Healing doesn’t mean forgetting; it means learning to live again, to smile again, and to hold on to faith even through the tears,” she shared.
She thanked God for giving her strength through the ordeal, promising to keep the memory of her triplets alive forever.
“To my precious babies, Zion, Zoe, and Ziva, you will never be forgotten. Forever in my heart,” Oge added.
The sisters’ emotional posts have drawn an outpouring of sympathy and support from fans and fellow celebrities, who commended their openness, faith, and resilience in the face of loss.
