Beauty entrepreneur Adeola Adeyemi, popularly known as Diiadem, has alleged that Nollywood actress Biola Adebayo was rude and condescending during a movie shoot in 2009/2010.
Diiadem claimed that Biola instructed her to clean her shoes in a manner she described as demeaning, leaving a lasting negative impression.
“It’s not just about cleaning shoes, it’s about how you speak to people. It costs nothing to be kind,” Diiadem said, recalling the incident.
She revealed that seeing Biola’s recent social media content, particularly posts highlighting her colleagues’ expensive aso ebi, resurfaced painful memories and prompted her to speak out.
“I saw that she laughed at my comment on InstaBlog. Everything isn’t about having fun. Sometimes, you need to be accountable. If I were in her shoes, I’d reach out and apologise,” Diiadem added.
The entrepreneur emphasized that her goal was not to seek attention but to address a past hurt and promote accountability in the entertainment industry.
“I don’t chase clout. I just wanted to speak my truth. What happened back then was wrong, and the least she could do now is acknowledge it,” she concluded.
As of now, Biola Adebayo has not issued a full response to the allegations.
