Recently evicted Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Tracy, has admitted she regrets staying true to her calm nature during her time on the show.
Speaking in a post-eviction interview with Pulse, Tracy revealed that her decision to remain authentic may have worked against her. She explained that viewers often found her quiet demeanor less entertaining compared to more dramatic contestants.
“If I could take back anything I did in the house, it’ll be being myself,” she said. “I wish I got into unnecessary fights, shouting, or being dramatic. I feel like that would have made me stay longer because, according to people, I was quiet and boring.”
The former housemate added that she underestimated the performative nature of the competition. She noted that some contestants deliberately acted out for strategy and could later clarify their true personalities after leaving the house.
“I wish I realized it was a game and I could act out of character and clear the air once I’m out,” she said.
Her comments highlight the pressure BBNaija housemates face to balance authenticity with entertainment value, a factor that often determines how long they last in the competition.
