Big Brother Naija star, Cross Okonkwo, popularly known as Cross Da Boss, is officially engaged to his girlfriend, Chinonso.
The romantic proposal took place on Tuesday and was witnessed by close friends and fellow BBNaija alumni. Among them was Liquorose, who shared clips of the heartwarming moment on social media.
In the video, Cross got down on one knee to ask Chinonso to marry him, and she joyfully accepted. The newly engaged couple later celebrated with an intimate dinner surrounded by friends.
Cross confirmed the news on Snapchat, posting a video with the caption: “Guys, my love of my life said yes.” In another post, he expressed gratitude, writing: “The most happiest man alive. Thank you Jesus.”
The engagement comes nearly a year after Cross revealed a personal spiritual transformation, declaring that he had been “arrested by God” and was dedicating his life to building His kingdom.
BBNaija alumna Erica Nlewedim also joined the celebration via FaceTime, congratulating the couple in a video call.
Fans and colleagues have since flooded social media with well-wishes, cheering the reality star and his fiancée as they begin their journey toward marriage.
