Big Brother Naija Season 10 first runner-up, Dede Ashiogwu, has opened up about her time on the reality TV show, describing it as a life-changing and fulfilling experience.
Speaking during an interview on Guinness Africa’s “The Dip” series, Dede reflected on her personal growth, emotional journey, and the relationships she formed in the Big Brother house.
Recounting her experience in the final week, she said reaching the top two was a moment of immense gratitude.
“At that time, I actually felt way more grateful than anything. I felt blessed. I’d always rooted for the winner, Imisi, so being the first runner-up was a huge thank-you moment to God,” she said.
Dede noted that the show helped her gain emotional maturity and a broader outlook on life. She described Imisi as the funniest housemate, Jason and Koyin as the most competitive, while calling herself the most unpredictable of the group.
Addressing her viral comment where she jokingly referred to Jason, Kola, and Koyin as her “fishes,” Dede explained that the statement had been taken out of context but said she understood why fans found it amusing.
Looking ahead, the reality star revealed that she is working on several new creative projects, promising fans stylish and engaging content in the coming months.
When asked how Guinness would define her personality, Dede smiled and replied, “All smooth, charm, and rich energy.”
