Former Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Ibifubara, has expressed concern over the direction of the ongoing eviction process, saying it is unsettling the flow of the show.
In a recent podcast appearance, the reality star described the pattern of evictions as “surprising,” pointing out that key housemates who formed the backbone of the game have been removed earlier than expected.
Ibifubara, who left the house in the first week alongside Danboskid, said her early eviction was shocking enough, but subsequent exits have further disrupted the season. She cited the removal of Kayikunmi, Gigi, and Victory as examples of evictions that caught both viewers and housemates off guard.
“These evictions are breaking up the core dynamics of the house,” she explained. “Ships like Zita and Danboskid, or Kayikunmi and Isabella, were central to the season, and now they’re gone. Even Victory’s exit cut short a potential storyline with Sultana.”
According to her, the removal of strong players is stripping the season of its most engaging relationships and story arcs. She noted that fans have even joked that being in a ship no longer guarantees survival this season.
“From the first week, housemates who were at the center of the house were taken out,” she said. “It feels like the peak has already passed. If next week another person with a major storyline leaves, that might be it for the season’s narrative.”
Ibifubara’s comments highlight ongoing debates among fans about whether the eviction pattern is enhancing or undermining the excitement of Big Brother Naija Season 10.
