Big Brother Naija Season 10 runner-up, Dede, has opened up about her complicated relationship with fellow ex-housemate Kola, clarifying why she doesn’t see a future with him romantically.
During a post-show interview with host Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Dede acknowledged that she had genuine affection for Kola and admired his character, but said her feelings never reached the level needed for a relationship.
“I do like Kola, but it is not enough for a relationship,” she explained. “He is an amazing person. I would always sing his praise regardless of what it is. But it’s not enough for what we thought it is.”
Dede and Kola’s dynamic was one of the most talked-about storylines of the “10/10” edition of Big Brother Naija. Throughout the season, Kola expressed strong romantic interest in Dede, even after she disclosed that she was already in a committed relationship outside the house.
The reality star also admitted that she eventually grew bored with their connection while in the house, a factor that made it clear to her that the relationship wouldn’t work in the real world.
Despite fan speculation, Dede’s comments suggest that her relationship with Kola will likely remain platonic as both move on with life after the show.
