The Oluyole Warriors secured a hard-fought 1–0 win against Barau FC at the Sani Abacha Stadium last Sunday, marking only their second road victory of the 2025/26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) campaign.
Onyeamechi, who joined the Ibadan-based side from Enugu Rangers (where he was a member of the 2023/24 title-winning squad), received widespread praise for his tireless work rate and defensive contributions during the closing stages of the match.
