Warri Wolves head coach Johnny Austin has praised his players for their discipline and tactical awareness in the 1-1 draw against Bendel Insurance at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin City.
Alex Owolaiyefe put Bendel Insurance ahead, but Othuke Egbo equalised for the visitors to earn a valuable away point.
Speaking after the match, Austin commended his players for sticking to the game plan.
“I will commend my boys; they always play to instructions, which has been key to our impressive form on the road,” he said.
The coach added that his side expected a tough contest in Benin but were satisfied with the result.
“We knew Bendel Insurance would be tough, but we are happy with the point from Benin City.”
