Atalanta have placed a firm €50 million valuation on Ademola Lookman amid strong interest from Turkish champions Galatasaray, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. The Italian side are reportedly unwilling to enter negotiations or lower the asking price for the Nigerian forward ahead of the January transfer window.
Galatasaray are believed to be keen on pairing Lookman with his Super Eagles teammate Victor Osimhen, who is also said to be encouraging the winger to make the switch to Turkey.
Lookman has endured a difficult campaign at Atalanta, having pushed for a move away from Bergamo during the summer. Despite his reduced impact this season, the club remain adamant about their valuation.
The 26-year-old, who joined Atalanta in 2022 and has been one of their standout performers in previous seasons, is under contract with the Serie A outfit until 2027.
The Turkish giants are expected to continue their pursuit, but Atalanta’s rigid stance suggests any deal will only happen if Galatasaray meet the full €50 million fee.
