Atalanta are preparing to dismiss head coach Ivan Juric, with negotiations already at an advanced stage to appoint Raffaele Palladino as his replacement.
The development was revealed on Sunday by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, who wrote on X: “Atalanta are in advanced talks with Raffaele Palladino to become the new head coach. Ivan Jurić, on the verge of being sacked.”
The decision follows days after Juric’s touchline clash with Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman during Atalanta’s Champions League meeting with Marseille. Lookman reacted angrily after being substituted, prompting Juric to pull him back before both men were separated by club staff.
