After a two-year hiatus, the Abryanz Style and Fashion Awards (ASFAs) returned, celebrating leading designers, creatives and cultural icons under the theme: “A Tribute to African Visionaries Shaping the Future of African Fashion.”
Guests including Minister of Energy and Mineral Development Ruth Nankabirwa and Dr Maggie Kigozi underlined fashion’s growing influence on society.
Didi Stone was named Fashion Enthusiast of the Year, Swanky Jerry took Male Fashion Enthusiast of the Year, and Ali Alibhai received the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Hannah Karema was recognized for positive change in fashion, while The Queen of Buganda, Nnaabagereka Sylvia Nagginda, was celebrated as the Most Influential Woman in Fashion. The night also featured live performances and runway showcases.
