Nigerian Afrobeats star Asake has unveiled plans for his upcoming ‘Mr. Money African Tour’, set to launch this December with three major stops: Nairobi on December 20, Lagos on December 24, and Côte d’Ivoire on December 27.
The announcement marks a significant homecoming for the singer, who has spent much of 2025 performing, recording, and promoting his music abroad. His Lagos concert will be his first in Nigeria in a long while, making it one of the most anticipated shows of the holiday season.
Adding to the excitement, Asake’s long-teased album ‘Mr. Money’ has yet to be released, fueling speculation that the project may drop ahead of or during the tour.
The year 2025 has been a remarkable one for Asake. He delivered two solo hits—‘Why Love’ and ‘Badman Gangsta’ featuring French rapper Tiakola—both of which topped African streaming charts. Beyond his singles, he has collaborated on several standout tracks, including ‘Che Che’ with Young Jonn, ‘99’ with Olamide, ‘Gold’ with UK star J Hus, and ‘Satisfaction’ with American rapper Gunna.
With his blend of chart dominance and international recognition, Asake’s December tour is shaping up to be one of the biggest musical highlights on the continent this year.
