Brazil head coach Carlo Ancelotti says neither Neymar nor Vinicius Jr. will make his 2026 World Cup squad unless they are fully fit and performing at 100%.
Speaking to Esporte Record, Ancelotti said he prefers players who are in peak condition due to the intense competition within Brazil’s attack.
“If Vinicius is at 90%, I’ll call up another player who is at 100%,” he warned.
Neymar has not received a call-up since Ancelotti assumed the role last summer and has missed eight matches under the Italian.
