The Governor of Anambra State, Professor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, CFR, has warmly congratulated Chief Emeka Anyaoku, GCON, on the occasion of his 93rd birthday.
In a statement, Governor Soludo described Chief Anyaoku as an eminent patriarch of diplomacy, a global statesman, and a national treasure whose life’s work continues to bring immense pride to Nigeria, and particularly to Anambra State.
“He remains a masterclass in international leadership, conflict resolution, and the steadfast advocacy for democracy, human rights, and sustainable development,” the Governor said. “Across the world’s stage, he embodies the finest values of our homeland: wisdom, integrity, and an uncompromising loyalty to the common good.”
Governor Soludo further highlighted Chief Anyaoku’s enduring influence at home, noting his exemplary intellectual rigour, principled guidance, and patriotic devotion. “His counsel, borne of profound experience and deep love for selfless service, remains an invaluable asset in our collective quest for a progressive Anambra and united Nigeria,” he added.
The Governor extended heartfelt wishes for Chief Anyaoku’s continued excellent health, enduring fulfilment, and profound peace, celebrating not only his remarkable age but also the extraordinary legacy he has bequeathed to Nigeria, Africa, and the world.
