
Head coach of Nigeria’s U-20 women’s team, Moses Aduku, has called on the Flamingos to maintain focus and unity as they prepare for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup in Morocco.
During a motivational visit to the team’s Abuja camp, Aduku encouraged the players to approach the tournament with confidence, discipline, and teamwork, noting that their performance would shape the future of Nigerian women’s football.
He also commended coach Bankole Olowookere and his team for their impressive preparation, which includes ten straight wins and 44 goals scored without conceding.
Meanwhile, NFF Referee Assessor Ameenu Mohammed held a special session on the laws of the game, emphasizing the importance of rule awareness and discipline.
The Flamingos are set to depart for Morocco today and will face Canada, France, and Samoa in Group D as they aim to build on their 2022 third-place finish.
