Plateau United technical adviser, Oluwasola Adegun, has voiced confidence in his team’s ability to recover from their shaky start to the 2025–26 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Peace Boys have managed just two wins from seven matches, losing five, including a narrow 1-0 defeat to Shooting Stars in their most recent outing in Ibadan.
Despite the setback, Adegun insists there are encouraging signs to build on as his side looks to rediscover its winning form.
“In our previous game against Kwara United we had a good performance, likewise against Shooting Stars too despite the defeat,” he said. “We will build on the positives from the game and avoid those mistakes that allowed us to concede at the end of the match.”
The coach added that the team’s steady improvement will soon translate into better results, particularly in away fixtures.
“We are improving consistently; very soon we will be at that place where we will be getting results away from home,” Adegun assured.
Plateau United will aim to return to winning ways when they face Barau FC in Jos on Sunday.
