Nollywood actress and medical practitioner Jemima Osunde has added another feather to her cap, earning a Master’s degree in Public Health, making it her third academic qualification.
The actress, who is also a graduate of physiotherapy, shared the news on her Instagram page, expressing pride and gratitude for achieving the milestone while actively pursuing her acting career.
In her post, Jemima reflected on how she has always lived “the best of both worlds,” successfully combining her studies at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos (Idi-Araba) with her fast-rising career in Nollywood.
“A Master of Science in Public Health. My third degree. Forever doing side quests,” she wrote.
“Why do I chase academic qualifications and a career in health care even with my existing career in entertainment? My simple answer is why not? I’ve always lived the best of both worlds.”
Osunde revealed that she worked full-time at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH) while maintaining her career in film, a balance she described as challenging yet fulfilling.
She added humorously that one of her motivations was to someday tell her children, “Mummy has two heads.”
The actress, known for roles in New Money, The Delivery Boy, and Shuga Naija, received an outpouring of love and congratulations from fans, colleagues, and admirers who commended her dedication to excellence and lifelong learning.
