Nollywood actress Bisola Badmus is celebrating her birthday with gratitude after overcoming a life-threatening brain tumor diagnosed in 2022.
In an emotional Instagram post, Badmus expressed thanks to God for His mercy and intervention, saying she is now healthy and strong. “All I have to say is thank you to God Almighty for His mercy, grace, favor, blessings, and eternal peace,” she wrote.
The actress also acknowledged her son, Abdul Malik, for his unwavering support during her battle with the illness. “To my adorable son, thank you for staying strong and firm during these trying times. You showed me how much I mean to you,” she added.
Badmus described her experience with the tumor as one she wouldn’t wish on anyone, highlighting the challenges she faced and the assistance she received from friends and family. She reflected on the losses endured during her illness and celebrated the restoration of hope and health.
“Even though much went down the drain, I thank God for His infinite mercy. I’m grateful to witness another year alive among the living and not among the dead,” she wrote.
The actress encouraged fans and well-wishers to celebrate her survival, describing herself as a living testament to God’s power. “I’m hale and hearty now. Please, lovers of Adunni Adunbarinmatoshi, thank God on my behalf. I’m a living testimony of what God can do,” she added.
