Veteran Nollywood actor Ganiyu Nafiu, popularly known as Alapini Oosa, has met with Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, months after publicly expressing regret over his political support for the president and the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The meeting, which reportedly took place behind closed doors, also had actress Fathia Balogun Williams in attendance. Photos from the visit have since surfaced online, sparking widespread discussion and speculation across social media platforms.
Earlier this year, Alapini Oosa voiced disappointment that his efforts in campaigning for Tinubu during the 2023 general elections went unrecognized. He lamented not receiving any acknowledgment or compensation nearly two years into the administration.
The recent meeting with Seyi Tinubu marks the first public interaction between the actor and the president’s family since his remarks.
As of press time, neither Alapini Oosa nor Seyi Tinubu has revealed the purpose or outcome of their discussion.
