Abakaliki FC head coach, Stars Plus, has called on supporters to stay behind the team as they begin the new Nigeria National League season.
Plus assured fans that the club is working tirelessly to surpass last season’s achievement, when they finished runners-up in the President Federation Cup.
Abakaliki FC secured their first NNL victory on Sunday, defeating Solution FC at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium.
“We will keep giving our best and make our home a fortress,” the coach said.
Abakaliki FC will face Ekiti United in a matchday four clash this weekend.
