French football analyst Walid Acherchour believes Barcelona winger Lamine Yamal is poised to attract significant support in this year’s Ballon d’Or race following an outstanding campaign for club and country.
The Spain international strengthened his credentials by helping Barcelona secure the LaLiga title before playing a key role in Spain’s FIFA World Cup triumph.
Yamal is widely regarded as one of the leading contenders for football’s top individual honour and is expected to compete with the likes of England’s Harry Kane, France’s Kylian Mbappe and other top stars.
