TikTok personalities Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth Aminata, widely known as Jarvis, are set to exchange marital vows today, August 1, in a wedding that has captured widespread attention across Nigeria’s digital space.
The highly anticipated ceremony, scheduled to take place in Lagos, comes after weeks of online excitement and a series of public milestones that have kept the couple in the spotlight.
Peller marked the occasion with an emotional message shared on Instagram on Saturday.
“Today, we become one. Two tribes, one love. Two families, one forever. A new chapter begins and forever starts now,” he wrote.
The couple had earlier announced their wedding date through a cinematic video posted on social media, ending with the inscription “Jarvis & Peller 01-08-2026.” The announcement quickly attracted thousands of reactions from fans, celebrities and fellow content creators.
Peller and Jarvis rose to fame through comedy skits, prank videos and relationship-focused livestreams on TikTok, building one of the most recognisable online partnerships in Nigeria. Their videos frequently trend across TikTok, Instagram and X, earning them a large and dedicated following.
Their journey to marriage has unfolded largely in the public eye. In June, Peller proposed to Jarvis at La Palm Royal Beach Hotel in Accra, Ghana, before travelling to Benin City, Edo State, for the traditional introduction and bride price rites with her family.
The couple also completed a civil wedding ceremony earlier in the week, paving the way for today’s white wedding celebration.
As anticipation built ahead of the event, the hashtag #JP2026 gained traction online, with supporters sharing congratulatory messages and counting down to the ceremony.
Their relationship has occasionally drawn public scrutiny, including a brief separation linked to privacy concerns. Both have also made headlines for comments shared during interviews and podcasts.
Despite the controversies, Peller and Jarvis have remained among the country’s most prominent digital creators, leveraging their popularity into brand partnerships, endorsements and appearances at major events.
With the white wedding now underway, many fans are watching closely as one of Nigeria’s most talked-about influencer couples begins a new chapter together.
