A Chuka University student has been charged with using offensive language against President William Ruto and his children.
According to the charge sheet, the comments were made in a video clip posted on TikTok on June 25, 2026.
In it, he is alleged to have made derogatory remarks touching on President Ruto, his son George and one of his daughters.
Hesbon Mauti Thomas pleaded not guilty before the Milimani Law Courts on Friday morning.
He was then freed on Sh5,000 cash bail.
