Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly been placed in solitary confinement after an alleged altercation with another inmate at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Fort Dix in New Jersey.
According to reports, the incident occurred earlier this week after another inmate allegedly insulted Combs, prompting a confrontation. The report claims the two men exchanged pushes and punches before prison staff intervened and quickly separated them.
Sources said Combs “held his own” during the scuffle before being moved to solitary confinement. It remains unclear whether he is still being held in isolation or whether he will face further disciplinary action.
Combs is currently scheduled for release in February 2028, assuming he continues to receive credits for good behaviour. Any disciplinary sanctions resulting from the alleged incident could potentially affect that release date.
Responding to enquiries, an FCI Fort Dix spokesperson declined to comment on the reported altercation, saying the prison does not disclose internal information relating to inmates.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons also said it does not comment on disciplinary matters or information involving individual inmates because of privacy, safety and security concerns.
Representatives for Combs have not publicly commented on the report.
