Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso has announced a 27-player squad for the club’s pre-season tour of Australia and Asia.
The Blues are set to leave London for Sydney, where they will begin preparations for the new campaign. Their first fixture is against A-League side Western Sydney Wanderers on July 28, before facing Tottenham Hotspur at Accor Stadium on August 1.
Chelsea will then head to Hong Kong for a clash with Italian giants Juventus on August 5, followed by a meeting with AC Milan in Jakarta, Indonesia, on August 8.
The tour will conclude in Malaysia, where the Premier League side will face Johor Darul Ta’zim on August 9.
Among those included in the travelling squad are goalkeepers Robert Sanchez and Filip Jorgensen, defenders Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana and Tosin Adarabioyo, midfielders Romeo Lavia and Cole Palmer, as well as new signings Liam Delap, João Pedro, Jorrel Hato and Estevão Willian.
